It is so important to bear in mind the sustainability of fashion, and with fast fashion, short lived and easily forgotten trends, the waste of clothes. Carhartt is a brand that prides itself in being durable and timeless, made for craftsmen, workers and makers, fighting against buying short-lived fashion. This is something that I am directly tackling within my project, the idea of being fashionable and on par with today's trends means that we create more and more waste and pollution for our planet. With my film, I want to not only embrace the art of making, but also shed light on the impacts that fast fashion and mass production have on our planet.
